Customers who signed up for a shared server on or after 1/20/2020 will be able to restrict the IP address of the connection source for users of the database they created.

On a shared server, if you set the database user access to only localhost, you will not be able to connect to "phpMyAdmin" from our control panel. This happens because the web server and database server are installed on different servers for security and load balancing purposes.

Therefore, when you create a user for database creation, please follow the steps below to allow access from the web server.

●When creating a new database

In the database creation screen, set the access control to "任意のホストからのリモート接続を許可 (Allow remote connections from any host)".

If you want to restrict the IP address from which the database is connected, set "以下からのリモート接続を許可 (Allow remote connections from:)" and add the IP address of the web server "10.250.1.77" to the allowed list.

●If you want to change the source IP settings of users after creating the database

From our control panel, go to the database settings page as shown below.

"WebHosting Plesk" > target website > "MANAGE" of WEB HOSTING SETTINGS in Configuration

or "WebHosting Plesk" > "ACTION" of target website > "Manage Databases"

Click on the name of the database user (ユーザ) whose settings you want to change.

If you want to restrict the IP address from which the database is connected, set "以下からのリモート接続を許可 (Allow remote connections from:)" and add the IP address of the web server "10.250.1.77" to the allowed list.
